Cascading style sheets (CSS) is a W3C-reccommended technology and can be used to determine the appearance of a website by editing a single document (the style sheet). CSS gives web designers powerful tools for controlling the visual presentation of documents on the Web. CSS helps to separate content and structure from presentation and layout. With CSS web developers can create document that are easier to maintain, manage and update. In this instructor-led online training course, students will construct a stylesheet, write a style rule to redefine an HTML tag, write a custom style rule or “class”, use classes to redefine style rules using inheritance, link stylesheets to Web pages, and more.
