When you start in this world of web design , you must have some reference of how to collect and which aspects should cover your fees. At first some might give you some guidelines in order to collect on the designs. Some will tell you … charge for work, someone else, charged by the hour … and some more … a separate charge for each service. A person with a higher work experience on the subject I would recommend these 7 tips for how to collect your next Web project and make good estimates .

1. Having a core vision of what the client wants to do on your site.

Know which way the customer wants to use his web page , for example if your site will be informative, an online store, or a blog , etc.

2. Knowing that you will use programming language.

According to the idea that you need forms of what the customer know that programming build your website. It is a fact that not all know or have knowledge of absolutely all types of programming. Whether PHP , CSS , JavaScript , etc., or even flash . Each has its pros and cons.

3. That is what we offer them the package.

In the package the customer to propose there are many things that need to pay them or externally by those charged to your client side. Examples of these things is the domain name , hosting, SSL certificates mailing or if some sort of e-Commerce, to name a few.

4. Under the bill whether you will use templates.

There are many web designers who like to use templates, either free or purchased. Although shopping is much better than free, it is not advisable to do that because you are giving a full service that includes a custom designed, because if not, within the same hosting customers to offer design services in fewer steps.

5. Make an estimate of the design development and programming.

This is important because you’ll find a rough idea of expenses you have that are direct inputs you will incur while doing the project.

6. Knowing whether to use any CMS.

A CMS (Content Management System) such as joomla or drupal is a good option if you’re just starting with web design . Although you also need knowledge of how to create databases and users. At least to use any of these, if you want them, better own hosting and domain.

7. Know if you need to pay some kind of freelance.

Whether up databases, do some plugin or some formatting, it is important to take this into account in the final cost.

Bearing these points have an idea of what we charge, because they are the direct and indirect needs to be taken into account and that it will take other action to collect.

Similarly we must consider that at first we must go step by step in collecting this type of project. Unfortunately still remains in the minds of the price as it depends on the client, but rely on it to put a price in the long run we will adopt an attitude of the higher recovery - the better job, and instead of winning customers, we will lose.
